Meeting invitation to Commissioner Andriukaitis
Professor Åke Bergman, Coordinator of EDC-MixRisk, has on behalf of our consortium written a formal request for meeting to Dr. Vytenis Andriukaitis, the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety.
The European Commission is currently discussing how to regulate EDCs. Prof. Bergman therefore stresses that we in EDC-MixRisk are at the Commissioners disposal to provide him with our scientific expertise on EDCs to ensure that the best possible decisions are made regarding EDC-regulations.
In the letter, Prof. Bergman brings up our concerns about the delayed impact of exposure to chemical mixtures during early development, and respectfully requests a meeting with Dr. Andriukaitis to discuss these matters with him.
